As a result the 3D-animation of our logo should be mysterious but still be kept minimalistic and well structured. So it was clear, that the logo should only be rebuilt partially in 3D and that there was going to be a transition from 3D to 2D. During  the conceptional stage we decided to shape the  3/4-circle from the logo into a tube. Inside this tube should the 3 triangles be arranged with differing gaps.An animated tracking shot should lead from the dark inside area of the tube, passing over the 3 triangles representing the arrows, outside of the tube into lightness, disclosing the overall picture. After the tube and  the triangles had been costructed in Cinema4D we experimented with different textures and lighting situations to find an appropriate mood. (mehr …)

Postproduction BMCC workflow


As announced we report you about the postproduction workflow from the Dr. Hauss shoot. After copying the material from the SSDs to our Server, we could look about which shots should be used and which not, by watching the Cinema-DNG previews in DaVinci Resolve. That way we could localize the clips fast and export them as proxies (ProRes 433 (LT)) in Rec709-colorspace. (mehr …)
